New Monroe® Springs Catalogue

New Monroe® springs catalogue highlights new choices to cover wider range of repair budgets

Frankfurt, Germany, 13 September 2016 – Tenneco has released a comprehensive new Monroe® Springs master catalogue that for the first time includes two tiers of technology designed to cover a wider range of market opportunities. The catalogue was officially launched in conjunction with the Automechanika 2016 trade fair in Frankfurt.

The new catalog (no. A6373) details the expanded range of original equipment-style Monroe OESpectrum® springs – now numbering more than 2,000 SKUs – as well as a consolidated offer of aftermarket-style Monroe springs.

With warranty coverage newly extended from three to five years, Monroe OESpectrum springs are engineered to help restore the “like-new” suspension performance preferred by many consumers. Each OESpectrum spring mirrors the original equipment technology and is produced using OE-level manufacturing processes. Strength and performance are ensured through high-quality shot peening and phosphate corrosion protection. For cars equipped with side-load compensation applications to meet the ride and handling requirements of a growing number of late-model passenger vehicles, OESpectrum springs are manufactured with precise side-load measurement controls. These controls help ensure precise, OE-specified friction reduction within each corresponding vehicle suspension. Also now available are premium, left-hand wound springs engineered for the limited car applications where the OE springs are coiled in the opposite direction.

Monroe aftermarket-level springs include rear, non-tapered “SN” series springs as alternatives for OE mini-block springs, and front and rear “SE” series springs for popular vehicles. These aftermarket-specific springs are offered with a two-year warranty.

“Coil springs play a vital role in helping workshops restore a vehicle’s OE-style ride and handling characteristics,” explained Bruce Ronning, vice president and general manager, Tenneco Europe Aftermarket. “The Monroe range now addresses the full breadth of market opportunities while giving consumers the confidence that comes with a trusted brand.”

The new Monroe Springs catalogue is available in print format as well as in a convenient “flipbook” and electronic catalogue interface at www.monroecatalogue.eu.
