From December 1, all orders for Polish customers will be shipped directly from Gliwice, significantly reducing lead times on the full range of Monroe products.
“This investment in local logistics is part of Tenneco’s commitment to supporting its customers’ success by offering a full portfolio of premium ride control products, supported by an outstanding distribution network and customer service,” said Bruce Ronning, Vice President and General Manager, Tenneco Europe Aftermarket.
The addition of this service enlarges Tenneco’s activities in Gliwice, Poland. The company already operates a manufacturing facility for original equipment (OE) shocks and struts that was commissioned in 2000 and a dedicated aftermarket shock production facility that was added in 2016.
Today the company employs 1.422 people in Gliwice and produces OE shocks and struts for car manufacturers including Volkswagen Group, Ford, GM, Land Rover, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Volvo, Renault-Nissan, Dacia, Mazda, Suzuki and Mitsubishi.
